Volunteers Prep Trail for the Fall/Winter Season

Despite Mother Nature’s chilly temps and windy conditions, about 25 volunteers met on Saturday morning to participate in the annual fall clean up of the Milford Upper Charles Trail. Under the coordination of the Friends of the Milford Upper Charles Trail, volunteers from groups interested in community involvement (Bank of America) and Adopt-a-Trail sponsors (Montgomery Masonic Lodge, Alternatives Unlimited) collected trash, swept & raked slippery acorns and pine needles and trimmed low hanging branches from the 2.8 mile Phase 1 section of the paved multi-use trail.
A very special thank you to the clean-up volunteers from the Friends of the Milford Upper Charles Trail, Montgomery Masonic Lodge, Bank of America, Alternatives Unlimited & other community members: Nancy Wojick, Dick Flooks, Sheldon Moniz, John Edmondson, Mike Paddock, Phil Evans, T Hick, Tim Blake, Britney Sherry, Dianna Gilbert, Lucy Escobar, Doreen Edgar, Michele Rizzo, Steve Desrosiers, Robin O’Brien-Delin, Melissa Delin, Michele Tetreau, Amie & Corinne Sanborn, Guru SK Khalsa-Bob & Pat Rosenthal.
