environment friendly “green” activities. Let’s keep everyone &
our beautiful Trail a safe & healthy community asset!
8. Tree Buffer Zones & Invasive Weed Management – The rail
trail provided train access to businesses for many years and today

important, managing the invasive species threatening to choke out
native plants along the trail.
9. Trail Signage – Trail names, interesting spots, mileage markers

to those used on other bike trails. Help get everyone moving in
the same direction safely while learning & enjoying all the
wonder nature has to offer along the way.
10. Bike Racks (at trail heads) – Stopping for a picnic, to watch
a ball game or to visit a nearby business, store & lock your
bike nearby. (Note: Friendly’s welcomes trail users)
11. Overlook areas – Development of scenic overlook spots near Louisa
Lake & some of the other water holes along the trail will provide
excellent opportunities for de–stressing.
